Ingredients
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Caribbean Jerk Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
Chili
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 Large Onion Chopped or minced
- 8 Cloves Garlic minced
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper Seeds removed
- 1/2 Red Bell Pepper Seeds removed
- 1 Large Jalapeno pepper Seeds removed – leave in for more spice
- 1 Large Tomato
- 1 5.5oz Tomato Paste small can
- 2 cups Beef Stock
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 500 g Mushrooms sliced
Instructions
- Mix all dry seasonings and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and onion in 1tbsp oil over medium heat until onions are translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Transfer to crock pot.
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix.
- Cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 4 hours, stirring occasionally
Notes
Can substitute canned sliced mushrooms for fresh
