Ingredients

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Caribbean Jerk Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper

Chili

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Large Onion Chopped or minced
  • 8 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper Seeds removed
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper Seeds removed
  • 1 Large Jalapeno pepper Seeds removed – leave in for more spice
  • 1 Large Tomato
  • 1 5.5oz Tomato Paste small can
  • 2 cups Beef Stock
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 500 g Mushrooms sliced

Instructions

  • Mix all dry seasonings and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic and onion in 1tbsp oil over medium heat until onions are translucent.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Transfer to crock pot.
  • Add all remaining ingredients and mix.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 4 hours, stirring occasionally

Notes

Can substitute canned sliced mushrooms for fresh
